   Privacy Policy

The following describes Gizmo City's privacy practices.

Information Collection and Use:
When you place an order, Gizmo City collects your name, order recipient’s name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and credit card information. Gizmo City uses the information you provide when placing an order to complete that order and confirm shipment.

Information Sharing and Disclosure Practices:
Gizmo City does not share any of your information with other corporations.

 Practices Regarding Cookies
Gizmo City uses cookies to facilitate the checkout process. If you choose to change your browser preferences to disable cookies, you will still be able to make purchases on Gizmo City but you will be limited in the number of items you can purchase at one time.

Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update and Delete Information:
You can access and correct your order and contact information by contacting us at info@gizmocity.com.

Security Practices
Gizmo City uses industry-standard SSL encryption to protect all of your personal information including your name, address and credit card information.  Protecting your order information is our first concern. Gizmo City makes every effort to protect your online order information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, with a digital certificate provided by Thawte. SSL encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than Gizmo City. To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https." Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you'll be unable to connect to the server so you won't have to worry about mistakenly placing an order through an unsecured connection.
